Week 2 : Intro to Spring Quarter + Jeopoardy + Board Application Information
Come meet our NSSA board and all of the other club members! During this first meeting of Spring Quarter we will welcome back all members, returning and new. We will play Nursing Jeopardy to learn about facts relating to the Nursing/medical field. Come learn about applying for the 2024-25 NSSA Board! Becoming a board member is an incredible way to boost your change of major application!
Week 4 : Cope Health Scholars Guest Speaker
Come learn about a volunteer opportunity that provides hands-on experience in a healthcare setting! Engage in a program that provides students with information in various medical units, to refine your specific interest in healthcare. Meet a Cope Health Scholars representative and other like-minded medical/nursing interested students!
Week 6 : Board Speeches and Resume/Interview Tips!
Hear board speeches and vote for the 2024-25 board members! Learn valuable resume and interview tips from current Nursing Science students!
Week 8 : Change of Major Workshop, Board Election Results, and Opportunity Drawing
Attend our updated Change of Major Workshop; the last workshop of the academic year before change of major applications are due! Listen to advice and ask questions to students who successfully changed their major! Learn about the required courses and recommended extra-curricular activities to boost your application, and alternative pathways to becoming a Registered Nurse. Celebrate the 2024-25 Board Members will be announced and enter an opportunities drawing to win Nursing supplies!

Week 10 : New Board take over and End of the Year Celebration
